Why "100% up to…" is not free money

A big percentage is what the banner sells; the value is decided in the terms. Every bonus with a wagering requirement has a cost: to unlock it you bet a multiple of it, and each unit you bet loses the game's house edge on average. The formula used across this site: expected value ≈ bonus − total wagering × (100% − RTP).

Illustrative example, not a Powerbet offer: a 300 lei bonus with 35x wagering on the bonus only, played on slots with 96% RTP, requires 10,500 lei in bets. Expected loss: 420 lei. Expected value: −120 lei. The same bonus at 12x needs 3,600 lei, expected loss 144 lei, expected value +156 lei. Same percentage, completely different offer.

Game contribution in one paragraph

When a bonus is worth taking

Worth considering when you play slots anyway, the multiple is low, the base is the bonus only, the deadline is realistic and the maximum bet does not cramp your play. Worth skipping when you mainly play live tables, want quick access to your money, deposit small amounts, or when the offer locks your cash balance too. Declining is almost always possible: a plain deposit carries no wagering.

The clauses that void a bonus
