Slots at Powerbet: the numbers behind the reels
Slots are the biggest category in any online casino lobby and usually the friendliest towards bonus wagering. This page explains slot types, the two numbers that matter (RTP and volatility), jackpots and how to choose a slot while a bonus is active. Which slots Powerbet carries, the lobby shows; a few titles are covered under games.

- Classic three-reel slots with few lines — simple pace, frequent small wins.
- Video slots with five or more reels, free spins and special symbols.
- Slots built around a dedicated bonus mechanic such as Hold & Win — see 4 Leprechaun Riches Hold & Win.
- Slots with variable ways to win or cascading symbols.
RTP and house edge
RTP is the theoretical return over a very long run. The house edge is the gap to 100% and the average cost of each unit you bet. Illustrative example: at 95.8% RTP the edge is 4.2%, so 1,500 lei in bets cost 63 lei on average. The configured RTP is in the game's info panel; some slots have several versions and the operator picks one.
Volatility
Volatility describes how wins are spread: low volatility means frequent small wins; high volatility means long gaps and rare large wins. The average cost is the same at the same RTP; what differs is the risk of a session ending quickly. For long wagering, a balanced slot usually gives you a better chance of reaching the end.
Jackpots
Fixed jackpots have a known value. Progressive jackpots grow with every bet, and part of the game's RTP is set aside for them, so the base game returns less. Progressive jackpots often require a minimum stake to qualify. Also check whether jackpot games are eligible under your promotion.
Slots and wagering
Slots often count 100% towards wagering, which is why they are the usual way to unlock a bonus. Three rules: respect the offer's maximum bet, avoid bonus buys if the terms ban them, and pick the highest RTP among eligible games. Formula: wagering requirements.
Instant and crash games
Instant and crash games are often listed next to slots, but they have a different pace and are treated differently in promotions. Examples from the catalogue: Chicken Shot and Lucky Goal — check the type in the game rules.
